Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar is a Brit-American sitar player and music artist. She was the very first and youngest female to win a British House of Commons Award. Anoushka Shankar is among the rising stars of India's sitar. She is the daughter and pupil of Ravi Shankar. She was born 1982 in London. The first few years of her life included a period of time between London in London and New Delhi. In New Delhi, she made her debut when she was only thirteen years old.
